Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: vinagre
Section 3.1.1 of the vinagre manual explains that the password dialog
appears if a password is required for logon. This should be apparent
even for a novice user, so this part of the manual will probably not be
read so much.
But a novice user might be confused by the phrasing: the manual says
that the password dialog appears if the server requires a "secure
connection". This sounds like https on firefox, but it should only say
that a password is required to connect --- encryption is not supported
by all servers asking for a password, and usually the password and all
data are sent unencrypted, which is not mentioned anywhere.
In general the manual explains mostly obvious things.
