Public bug reported:
I am using kernel 2.6.24-15-generic and it looks to me as if there would
be a problem with the sound driver. It stops while booting. I tried to
disable the splash screen to get output and it looks to me as if the
kernel is Oopsing somewhere in the sound driver. I disabled sound in the
BIOS and could at least boot to a state where I can send you this bug-
report. I looked up dmesg and still found indication of an Ooops.
