Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: openoffice.org-writer
hardy heron 8.04 (alpha 5 to beta) updated amd64 / x86_64
openoffice.org 2.4
$ apt-cache policy openoffice.org-writer
openoffice.org-writer:
Installed: 1:2.4.0-3ubuntu1
Candidate: 1:2.4.0-3ubuntu1
Version table:
*** 1:2.4.0-3ubuntu1 0
500 http://archive.ubuntu.com hardy/main Packages

I wanted to find and replace all instances of a) "4o" with b) "4o",
where "o" in the latter was transformed into a superscript "o" (like the
degree sign) in the main window of Writer. I tried to copy it from the
main window of Writer and paste it into the "find and replace" window,
but it didn't work.
It would be great if "find & replace" would obey copy-pasted format
rules of text, so that I could easily substitute all instances of "4o"
to "4" and superscript "o".
** Affects: openoffice.org (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
