20080317+git20080318-1ubuntu2 (mind the 2 at the end)
But I'm sorry, it seems like it's not hal-info after all that caused this. I just updated another test install I have on my notebook and the reason for this issue is that *some* package edited the ~/.dbus folder in my home directory so it's not accessible for the "normal" user anymore: $ ls -al | grep dbus drwx------ 3 root root 4096 2008-03-25 17:53 .dbus How can I find out which update caused this? The reason I thought it was hal-info was that it wasn't until I downgraded this one that I restarted dbus via 'sudo /etc/init.d/dbus restart'. I guess that restored the proper rights. -- Latest update breaks dbus https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/212205 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
