Public bug reported:
I am currently trying the beta of 08.4 but this was an issue in the last
two as well. I have not modified my laptop at all and am using a Sony
Vaio pcg-frv31 laptop.
I simply get no sound other than internal speaker "beeps" this includes
headphone jack. I am willing to try other things if needed just new to
the what to try list for linux.
