Ok, for a final check: does the problem persist with the current version of firefox (3.0~b5+nobinonly-0ubuntu1)? And to narrow the source of the error down: Could you install the epiphany browser (package epiphany- browser) and check whether the above mentioned webpages are correctly displayed?
