** Attachment added: "Valgrind log"
   http://launchpadlibrarian.net/13192363/valgrind.log

** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

Since the update to FF3b5, Firefox is segfaulting extremely often -
either during page loads, or on POSTs. I tried reinstalling, purging,
- new profile, etc etc.
+ new profile, etc etc. After doublecheck, the official non-Ubuntu version
+ of Firefox is unaffected.

I attached the very short log provided by Valgrind. It totally fails to
start under it, I've never used Valgrind before though so if I'm doing
something wrong, do tell. Seeing how often and rapidly it happens, it's
  100% reproducible though still random.

  Ubuntu 8.04 beta, amd64
  Build identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9b5)
Gecko/2008040514 Firefox/3.0b5
  2.6.24-15-generic x86_64 GNU/Linux
