Public bug reported: If I boot the Ubuntu install disk (in either install or Live FS mode) it causes the existing JMicron RAID to 'split' (ie when I check it the BIOS says that there are now 2 degraded arrays with 1 disk each in them).
I suspect it is related to this.. https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/dmraid/+bug/180688/comments/2 Although I haven't had an opportunity to check properly yet - I am not sure how to list what swap devices are currently in use. Note that I don't run any dmraid commands or anything like that so I am _very_ surprised the live FS is touching my disk at all. It would be nice if it asked before just writing to something it thinks is blank...
