Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: grub

I am using kubuntu 8.04 beta (as of about 7 days ago, I cant get back in
though easily).

For all the betas, grub and the initial setup of grub.lst during install
consistantly set invalid HD# entries. (the number on HD always referered
to the wrong drive). The latest grub as of 7 days ago did not fix this,
and it actually attempted to wipe my corrected /boot/grub/grub.lst with
the incorrect one again.

I have 3x HDD's, and a GA-X38-DQ6 motherboard. i386 is the architectire
I tried.

I had kubuntu installed on one, vista on another. The only way I could
boot into kubuntu first time, was press e and edit the entry.

Let me know how I can provide more info. This should be fixed before
released, or a lot of people I'd imagine may not be able to boot :(
