Hi.
This machine is up to date.
With 2.6.24-15 the system hangs while booting. "Loading Hardware Drivers" is
the last thing I see. After I bypass that, the XServer crashes.
(I had that with a previous version of this kernel, too. I then got into X but
HAL wasn't started.)
With 2.6.24-12-generic everything works.
I attach both dmesg.
If there's anything else you need to know, please let me know.
