(Never mind the spelling in the dialogs, or even djmikerodz's comment --
They are both low priority and nearly irrelevant.)
My upgrade is broken, and worse, I don't know how to go back.
I started the upgrade to 7.10 using the alternate CD. I noticed that it
had stopped for about 45 minutes on one file acpi(??) -- unfortunately I
did not make a note of it (annoyed).
I stopped the upgrade.
When I started it again, it asked if I wanted to run a partial upgrade.
I said OK.
*NOW*, it says:
Can not upgrade
A upgrade from 'gutsy' to 'feisty' is not supported with this tool.
1. But I thought that I wanted to go to 7.10 (which is gutsy) -- I don't think
I want to go backwards?
2. Or is the installer so *broken*, or *braindead*, that I have to rebuild the
PC?
3. What's going on?
4. How do we fix it?
