Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gcalctool

Press CTRL-E to display the bit map, and change to Hex.
Starting from the 48th click and set to 1 all bits in progressive order until
the 63rd : the display shows FFFF000000000000 as expected.
now do the same starting from the 63rd to the 48th: you get 8001000000000000
which is wrong
(is 1000000000000001000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 while it
should be
     1111111111111111000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000
* the display is not always synced with the bit map especially when the base
changes
* I cannot use numbers submitted by clicking on the bits as data for a
calculation (I have to copy and paste)

I'm using Ubuntu 7.10 (Italian) and gcalctool 5.20.2-0ubuntu1
