ubiquity ought to deal with disabling swap by itself, although doing so
might cause memory issues.
This log snippet intrigues me:
Apr 5 14:53:57 custom ubiquity: /lib/partman/display.d/10initial_auto: 134:
Apr 5 14:53:57 custom ubiquity:
/lib/partman/automatically_partition//do_option: not found
It's not obvious why this is happening, but a debug log ought to help.
Assuming that you can still reproduce this, could you please boot using
the "Try Ubuntu ..." menu option, start a terminal, run 'ubiquity
--debug', reproduce the problem, close the installer, and attach
/var/log/syslog, /var/log/partman, and /var/log/installer/debug to this
bug?
