Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: mozilla-firefox

I am running hardy and this comes with firefox 3.0~b5
This error occurs when an AJAX input field tries to display an autocomplete
selection.
It close firefox immediateley.
It followed the recommendation to run "firefox --sync" to get useful error :
 firefox --sync

(firefox:24962): Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_drawable_set_colormap: assertion `cmap ==
NULL || gdk_drawable_get_depth (drawable) == cmap->visual->depth' failed
The program 'firefox' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)'.
  (Details: serial 97073 error_code 8 request_code 70 minor_code 0)
  (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
   that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
   To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
   option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
   backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)

** Affects: firefox (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
