downloaded and created CD from daily-live 8.04 for april 9, 2008 05:50
time stamp.
cd passed integrity check
installation procedures normally until just about completion
where it should install grub, but it brings up KDE window
with ubuntu.ubuntu login. id=999 group=999
reboot system gets error - no active partition message.
