Public bug reported:
Hardy Heron Beta
After last nights update EVERYTHING from my panels is gone. No time. No
weather. No Applications, Places, Administration. Nothing. I have no way
of going into a terminal from the desktop now. I could possible enter
the "recovery mode" and use the terminal there but i have no clue what i
would be entering or looking for. This really sucks. Restarted about 5
times. Panel shows up empty. Right clicking panel does NOT give me the
option to add things back into the panel. Right clicking produces
nothing. If it were not for the few icons i have on the desktop the OS
would be completely useless right now. This occurred after the update
last night (4/9/2008) I expeced to restart the system and have improved
functionality and fewer bugs and instead got a great big bug that i feel
very intimidated by. I wanted to make the team aware and also get some
help in at least restoring my system.
