Confirming.
This bug report has been in the system for sometime without any other user
confirmation. However, there is some discussion in the Ubuntu Forums which
support the claim presented here. It also seems likely that many users may be
unaware that they are using an inferior driver and therefore have no cause to
resort to this bug report.
