1) ubuntu version: hardy beta
2) I select "safe graphic mode" and remove " quiet splash" from the
installation script. However the installation process hangs at "usb 5-4
configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice"
3) Then I tried "acpi=off" in the installation script. it works.
