Here is why it should be supported. 
The most numerous group of disabled persons that Linux supports is those that 
have minor Repetitive Motion Injuries. These persons (and I am one) can type 
and mouse somewhat, but cannot complete a long document without discomfort. 
Enter WINE running Dragon NaturallySpeaking 9.0 Preferred. Suddenly text entry 
is easy and fun. Continuous speech recognition works in Linux, and works well. 
But it DNS depends on EXCELLENT sound quality, which all of a sudden Ubuntu 
does not provide. 
And I bought a brand-new ASUS with 3GB RAM just so I would have enough 
computing power not to worry.
