Public bug reported:

I'm on UbuntuStudio with a fresh install from the Hardy Beta release.
All packages are up to date.

When I plug my camera in and turn it on first nothing happened. I then
realized I had to input the import behavior manually. This should not
occur if you are deciding on using f-spot as a default manager. (Issue
#1)

Importing works after and the importing on insert works after entering
the command. However after using the command (f-spot -i %m) for the
auto-import, I still have to select the camera as the input source.
Perhaps there is a better command but the %m should select the camera as
the source. (Issue #2)

However, my camera never shows up on the Places menu, is not mounted on
the Desktop, the "Computer" section, and does not seem to be accessible
through Nautilus. The issue is that f-spot (unlink gthumb) does not have
an option to delete imported pictures from the camera. It should be
accessible through Nautilus anyway, but this is the specific problem.
(Issue #3)

Please let me know what other info I can post.

Here is my lsusb output.
