Public bug reported:
Deleted items icon on desktop does not change to reflect the new state
of the trash when it becomes full or empty until you logout/login again.
The Trash applet in the panel changes properly.
To reproduce:
1. Start with an empty trash, the icon is an empty trashbin.
2. Delete something in Thunar to put it in the trash. The icon remains an empty
trashbin.
3. Restart the session. The icon is now properly a full trashbin.
4. Empty deleted items. The icon remains a full trashbin.
5. Restart the session again. The icon is now properly an empty trashbin.
The bug happens in Edgy Eft.
