Jithendra, please file a new bug about this and include information about your 
mouse (and driver/kernel module being used), the output of "dmesg" ("dmesg > 
dmesg.txt", then attach the file).
E.g. "lsmod | grep mouse" might be useful.

As for KDE using the (new) Power management functionality (i.e. pm-utils
for suspend/hibernate), I can at least say that KDE4 in Hardy does
nothing and even the "powerbutton pressed" event gets not catched at all
and acpi-support therefore triggers the default action (shutdown)!

I'm closing this bug, as per the reporters last comment (fixed by using Ubuntu 
instead of Kubuntu).
I think we should open new bugs for any remaining issues.
