Here is my backtrace.  Since I couldn't figure out how to backtrace
compiz, I did a backtrace on glxgears (since any opengl program
crashes).  If you need a backtrace on compiz, please let me know the
command to run to launch it in debug mode.

Also, not sure if this helps, but here is the output from the command
"compiz" in the terminal:
