John, the particular problem with apport may go away probably, when working
around this bug in firefox. That's not a real option though.
The testcase I've added does not involve anything that uses the default
browser, but plain firefox itself.
Confirmed with firefox 3.0b5 btw, too.
Maybe apport calls the browser (Firefox) from a non-existent directory,
triggering this bug?!
