Same here. However a few more details might help... * Before BIOS update the touchpad was working correctly, but occasionally would stop working for small periods of time (a known problem and solved by the A08 BIOS upgrade.)
* Immediately after the upgrade the touchpad worked fine, but at 1/10 speed. I noticed this exact problem on my other laptop (Dell D610 as well on installation of Hardy beta, if that helps in any way.) * Increasing the sensitivity to full still wasn't sufficient to get it to respond correctly, and it would occasionally (not sure what the trigger was) start acting erratically (as described -- completely random movement and clicks.) * Manually changing the driver (suggestion from one forum online) to alps didn't have any effect (if anything it made it worse -- permanently erratic behaviour, except during the initial stages of the login screen.) Will be trying the LiveCD to see if either the super-slow or erratic behavior is happening after booting from that.
