Public bug reported:
Hello!
-Ubuntu 8.04-
-NVidia 8600GTX with proprietary drivers-
-Compiz-
The bug i'm reporting isn't really a problem, but just a cosmetic bug.
When i have to give my password, for example when i want to update my system, a
grey (with alpha) background is displayed on the full screen but the
connection box, and after having typed my password, if the computer has
something to do (like checking for updates), it doesn't refresh the screen, so
most of it is grey (as you can see on the attachment). It could come from the
proprietary driver, but also from compiz or from ubuntu itself, i don't know.
So as i told, it is not annoying, but just a small graphical problem.
