If one looks at some of the Ubuntu forums (e.g.
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=748885) one can see that other
users are experiencing similar problems with Firefox (and Thunderbird).
CPU usage goes to 100% for the first minute or two when starting FF3
(and 2) in Hardy.
