Public bug reported:

When I try to configure the ksynaptics program (the one sitting in the
system tray), it complains that "Shared Memory is not accessible", and
wants me to edit xorg.conf, adding "UseShm true".

I can do that, but I think that for normal users, that should be done
automatically as part of ksynaptics configuration.
