Public bug reported:

when I log into KDE or GNOME i start to got severals problems

- Performance problems ( time to open an aplication -- for example
terminal that take over 20 seg)

- Autorepeat keyboard
- Keyboard didn't respond

So often happen that. But when I restart with noapic in the boot section
there are any problem. I try it 32 bits and all is working fine with 2
cores. Seems that the problem is 64 bits SMP . That's only happen in X
mode in console all is working fine

Hardware

Dell 9400
Intel core 2 duo 7200
2 Gigas ram
Nvidia 7800 go 256 MB
