Public bug reported:

Just upgraded to hardy. Opened terminal. Typed "sudo su". Got error return "
Unable to resolve acer" (acer is the computer name) and then a pop up box
asking me to report this error.
(This is the first error I have reported so sorry if I haven't included
everything I should - but I guess a background task caused the error)
