Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: ntop
The default rights for the /var/lib/ntop directory are set as follows:
drwxr-x--- 2 ntop root 1024 Apr 11 12:46 ntop
However, the ntop daemon only wants to run under the root account which
does not have write access to the directory, hence it cannot create some
required subdirectories and fails to load correctly.
The command ''sudo chmod 770 -R /var/lib/ntop'' resolves the problem.
