As Mary suggested, linux-ubuntu-modules-2.6.24 has iwlwifi version
1.2.0. However, linux-backports-modules-2.6.24 recently pulled in an
updated version of the iwlwifi drivers (version 1.2.25). So if you
still experience problems after trying Mary's first suggestion, try
installing linux-backports-modules to test the newer version as well.
Running 'modinfo iwl3945' can help provide version information. Thanks.
