Hello uwe and thanks for your bug report! I have changed the title slightly to make it less ambiguous; using "win" to abbreviate "Windows" is probably not optimal in the future as "win" is also both a noun and verb, neither of which have anything to do with Windows. Hopefully this will help someone else more knowledgeable with ekiga move this bug along. Thanks again, and continue to report any new bugs you may find.
** Summary changed: - Can not communicate from linux to win users + Can not communicate with Windows users ** Description changed: Binary package hint: ekiga I encouraged some friends to install ekiga on their win platforms as an alternative to skype. They installed the 2.0.11 version on win. I'm running the same ver on ubuntu 7.10 with an AMD64 processor (2Gb). The problem is that I see the incoming calls, I accept them, my friends can hear me, but I don't. On the other side, I can't establish a communication with them. I get a "remote user was not reached" message. If I enter the www.ekiga.net page, I see the other user off-line, - although I am sure he is on-line. Last but not least, I allways use - ekiga to make PC to phone calls, without any trouble, even if skype is - alive, of course, with a second account. + although I am sure he is on-line.
