Trying to install package compiz-gnome results in the following error:
"Depends: compizconfig-backend-gconf but it is not going to be
installed"
Manually marking compizconfig-backend-gconf for installation, and then
marking compiz-gnome for installation results in the following error:
"Depends: compizconfig-backend-gconf (>=0.7.4) but 0.7.2-0ubuntu1 is to
be installed"
Seems like a new version of the compizconfig-backend-gconf package is
required, but is not yet available, resulting in removal of compiz-
gnome.
The first error message should probably be adjusted to include the
details in the second one as well. "but it is not going to be installed"
is not a very helpful error message.
