I have configured the network by manually editing /etc/network/interfaces (kde tools don't wpa properly). The wireless does not come up automatically, I have to run "sudo ifup eth1". That's also a problem, it would be much better if it did configure itself when I press Fn-F5 which turns on the antenna, but I don't know what I'm missing for that to happen. The problem ritght now is that when I close the laptop and reopen it (i.e., suspend/resume), the wireless interface is "up", but not "working". In other words, I cannot connect anywhere, but if I do "sudo ifdown eth1; sudo ifup eth1", it reconnects and works OK. > > ** Changed in: apt (Ubuntu) > Status: Unconfirmed => Needs Info -- Wireless networking does not come back up after suspend/resume https://launchpad.net/bugs/65299 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
