I am sorry for not being clear. I install a daily build every day and test. I install into a VMware Workstation 6.0.3 virtual machine.
Daily Build of Hardy 04-10, 04-11 and todays 04-12 has no mouse support when you try to install. You can navigate with keyboard, get it installed and make the change in xorg.conf and get it to work. I love Ubuntu and make remastered Live CD's for CloneZilla and various other tech support utilities. I have a Dell Latitude Laptop D620, 4gb of RAM, Core 2 Duo and a touchpad mouse and a external USB optical mouse. The touchpad and USB Optical mouse quit working as of the 04-10 through 04-12 daily build. The Corepointer in the xorg.conf may be the problem. If I remove it, all is well. I just want to help you guys with testing and I do realize that it is a unsupported build.
