Hi,
I am not sure whether this is the same bug as 202388. I have a Gigabyte
GA-MA69GM-S2H mainboard
with AMD 690G chipset and onboard X1250 graphics:
01:05.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc RS690 [Radeon
X1200 Series]
When booting 8.04beta LiveCD, the screen gets complety black after starting
X11. The console
is still available and the machine is still alive, even the welcome sound can
be heard, it's just the
X11.
