Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gcalctool

The layout of the calculator buttons in a grid format follows the real
world calculators but those are only done this way (originally) in the
interest of manufacturing efficiency and/or design laziness.

I would suggest separating/grouping the numeric buttons from the
functions in some visual manner, creating a gap between them or adding a
slight bit of pale colour to button backgrounds.

All the view-specific functions would be one grouping, trig functions
another, boolean functions in another group, etc. The equals key '='
would be on its own.

Usability would improve and reduce the chance of hitting the wrong
button.

** Affects: gcalctool (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
