Hi all! I have the exactly same problem as the initial poster, and i can confirm with the actual (and last?) beta of Hardy Heron everything works fine!
I am using certificate/key without password and username/password additionally. As i use one-time passwords (RSA ACE keybob token) i need to enter password on every connection attempt. This worked fine for me with Hardy, i tried about 3 or 4 times.
