Public bug reported:

I'm using ubuntu hardy, and the version of -bad plugin is 0.10.6-5
The package contains libgstreal.so which accordingly to gst-inspect (and also
/usr/share/gstreamer-0.10/plugin-info/gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad.supported for a
better description) is capable of playing real media videos.

When opening a .rm video totem hangs after having displayed the title and the
duration. With hangs I mean that the video does not start, but the program is
responsive. The properties of the video (shown in the totem "sidebar") are
wrong, it is detected as:
Dimensions: 0x0
Codec: Real Video 3.0
Framerate: N/A
Bitrate: N/A

I also tried to launch the video through gst-launch and I got this output:
Setting pipeline to PAUSED ...
Pipeline is PREROLLING ...

then nothing happens.

The only way to play real video files now is to install w32codecs and
gstreamer pitfdll.

** Affects: gst-plugins-bad0.10 (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
