Hello there, this is a bit of a suprise, since the development went on and i long forgotten about the send in bug report, but i feel honered to get an repley any way. Yes it has been fixed in the release short after the broken version, i succesfully installed LTS 6.06 unto the labtop and framebuffer was working correctly, the machine is an compaq evo 600n laptop, everything works out of the box now.
But now that i have you , as i understand you are the expert, may i be so bold as to ask on an other topic? Its about wireless, my card works fine, and connects to my home wireless network, no problem there, but when going to an other location, i would like to easy connect to the wireless acces point there, now this is ( at the moment of this writing ) a weak point in ubuntu , is there an solution to this that you know of? Like some program, or addition that will let me see and connect to wireless or other networks on the fly? If you dont have the time to answer , no problem, but please let me know you recieved and could not find the time to answer...:) good luck with the project of ubuntu, i am advocating and distributing here in the netherlands in tilburg! ( try google earth to see where i am ..:) , near belgium border...... bye bye [EMAIL PROTECTED] Op wo, 11-10-2006 te 09:15 +0000, schreef Michael Vogt: > Thanks for your bugreport. > > Could you please try again with the released version of dapper?
