Its hard to say. Eventually I was able to install the updates, but once
I had, I could no longer boot into ubuntu. All attempts at revival
failed, so I eventually just reinstalled. Not sure if this counts as
fixed / resolved, but obviously no more information can be obtained now
that I have reinstalled, so it should be closed, i would say.

Thanks
Stephen

Status in Source Package "update-manager" in Ubuntu: Incomplete

Bug description:
When trying to download the latest updates, I am given a message that not all
updates can be downloaded. Upon choosing the partial update option, I am asked
for the admin password , and the distribution update dialog opens. It starts
and then crashes with the message "An unsolvable problem" and suggests the
/var/log/dist-upgrade logs be sent in with the bug report (they are attached).
