thanks for reporting this bug. In order to find the source of the
problem we need some further information.
The title of this bug refers to installing Kubuntu 7.10 but you also refer to
installing the upgrades. Was this a new install of 7.10 or an upgrade from 7.04
to 7.10?
Secondly, if this was an upgrade and if you still have them could you please
attach the log files from /var/log/dist-upgrade to this bug report.
