Public bug reported:

In Gutsy I could follow this guide to get my wireless to work: (in Hardy is
doesn't work)
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=297092

I tried doing this from ndiswrapper-util-1.9 and nidswrapper-common.
Then I tried it from source like they suggest in the guide. Version
ndiswrapper version 1.41 doesn't compile... version 1.51 did compile.

If i use the command "iwlist scanning" i get this error: "wlan0 No scan
results"
If i use the command "sudo iwlist scanning" i get this error: "wlan0
Interface doesn't support scanning : Network is down"

** Affects: ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
