Hey, I'm developer on PyChess, and we've had a few errors like this before.
I've commited a fix for the 0.8.1 branch, but I think it is really a python or
pygtk problem. The following code _should_ not give any problems.
def callback (*args):
window.disconnect(handle_id)
handle_id = window.connect("size-allocate", callback)
