Public bug reported:

The USB sound card worked in Ubuntu 7.10 after upgrading to latest 8.04 beta 
today, it doesn't work anymore. The dmesg error is:
[ 2833.378456] ALSA 
/build/buildd/linux-ubuntu-modules-2.6.24-2.6.24/debian/build/build-386/sound/alsa-driver/usb/usbaudio.c:1289:
 2:1:4: cannot set freq 55010 to ep 0x4
which didn't happen ofcourse in 7.10.
