Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: compiz

When you launch switcher or scale, compiz shows the same icon shown in
the taskbar or titlebar. Normally that's the app icon (in Totem or
Firefox, for example), but some apps (EOG or Evince, for example) use a
thumbnail of the document to identify their windows instead. These
windows, when you launch switcher or scale, have absolutely no icon to
identify them. You only see a scaled down image, but there's no telling
wether it's EOG or the GIMP handling it.

So my proposal is, make Compiz always show the app icon. If you launch
switcher and there's a PDF open, show the scaled down window PLUS the
Evince icon. If there's an image, show it PLUS the EOG icon, or the GIMP
icon, or whatever program you used to open it.

** Affects: compiz (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
