I forgot to mention here: Apparently this is related to the pulseaudio-bug filed as being a firefox bug for many times. However, this has (afaik) never been submitted as a pulseaudio bug, and I don't have the knowledge to submit one.
The problem is solved (in both firefox as epiphany) by just 'killall pulseaudio' (or like some say, deleting the flash-support file for pulseaudio) so it will just be streamed trough alsa. Imo this is a *serious* bug (flash movies crash a LOT without warning, and a lot of users will be viewing flash movies), so maybe we should consider disabling pulseaudio for flash. But, as I said, I don't feel like I have the knowledge to submit a bug report about this. If anyone does, please mark this as duplicate of that one. -- epiphany-gecko crashed with SIGSEGV https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/216316 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
