Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gnome-panel
I setup a panel without the "Expand" option for the bottom of my screen.
I have system monitor, workspace switcher, etc. on there. Each time I
login to a gnome session, this panel is incorrectly placed at the top of
the screen, and if I try to reset it to the bottom of the screen, it
fails to apply. If I add the "Expand" option, it can be changed to the
bottom of the screen without any problems.
Likewise, if I then try to change this panel back to the top of the
screen (for testing) it won't let me do that unless the "Expand" option
is selected.
I'm running hardy i386 with all the latest updates.
