I'm experiencing the same problem in Kubuntu/64 I add the settings in
kde network settings & it wont connect upon reboot there are no settings
for the WEP key. I put the settings in & reboot & they are gone again! I
remember the settings being in /etc/network/interfaces but that now only
has references loopback, I had to add a entry for eth0 to get it to
DHCP.
